The interior.... Yes. It Can't make me like the exterior though. It's not for me.

It's a nice comment but it's not really backed up by fact. A YouGov poll recently showed over 50 percent of our supporters weren't local and that there were 13 prem clubs with more concentrated local fan bases.

As an out of towner myself, I think it's great that the club has such a connect and affinity with the local community. But the fact we have fans throughout the UK and indeed across the globe is a sign that we are a big club. It's certainly a good thing.

Hope to god this new stadium isn't a bowl. Rather have a Westfalenstadion-type over a soulless bowl.

If you look at the Roma stadium video (which the Meis architects produced, the ones designing our new stadium, so this video is the sort of stuff we'll get when ours is announced), and get to the parts towards the end where they show the insides of the stadium and the stands, you'll see the stands inside are different. There's a more corporate end, and then there's very steep - dare I say, Kop-like (Dortmund more than the other lot) two tier massive stands where the atmosphere would be great.

If we got something like this, with an EFC twst/theme, coupled with being on the banks of the Mersey, it would be incredible. It would blow away every other club ground in this country, and make LFC's new stand look like nothing.

To say this would transform the club in so many different ways is the understatement of the century.

Let's have a stonking giant recreation of Prince Rupert's Tower in one corner, the curve of the roof being in the shape of wreaths extending out from the tower. Sorry, think I've gone a bit daft.

For me, would love a huge PRT as the main entrance to the ground for players, media, hospitality guests, club offices etc, with the roof being the highest point stood against the stands and a blue laser light on the apex sweeping the skies and horizon for night time games.

Still find it weird that we don't make any announcement on the location if it's so far along that we have a bloke drawing up the design.

Pointless announcing anything until we are through the red tape stage. If we announced now and it didn't happen due to planning refusal - or we had to significantly change the design how stupid would we look? There have been far too many failed stadiums in our history - a bit of caution with this one make a whole heap of sense.

What do you class the centre of Liverpool as ?

Google Maps says 30 minutes walk from the HSBC on Lord Street, and 30 minutes walk from Lime St station. I'd argue HSBC is very central.

Why pick on the centre of town though?

Surely the nearest public transport hub such as Moorefields or James Street is more applicable? Then the travel time is chopped in two when you stop off for a few drinks in the new pubs and drinkeries.
