I think so.

Let's compare two Premier League stadia: Old Trafford and St Mary's. Old Trafford is cramped and largely dated, while St Mary's is spacious and modern. However, of the two stadia, Old Trafford is held in the highest esteem because it has by far the biggest capacity.

40,000 fewer seats than Old Trafford?! That would make it smaller than West Ham's ground, Man City's ground, Newcastle's ground, Arsenal's ground and Tottenham's ground etc. etc.

I was replying to a post by orly, who claimed that our new stadium would have almost 40,000 fewer seats than Old Trafford. Even EFC wouldn't be so unambitious as to build a new stadium that was smaller than our present one!

What sort of capacity would you be satisfied with? I know it will be difficult for us to put Tottenham's new 61,000 all-seater in the shade, but would you be happy with a dockside stadium that was even smaller than St James' Park?

I love how someone posts a completely ludicrous and obviously untrue comment about how the stadium capacity is going to be below 50,000 (it obviously won't; if Moshiri is ambitious enough to build it at the docks, then he'll be ambitious enough to make it a large 50000+ capacity), and then we spend about 5 pages "debating" it.
