New Everton Stadium

Oh wow...the guy who designed Safeco Field. I absolutely love Safeco.

Very unique ballpark. The weather in Seattle is about as close to England as it gets I think, and baseball isn't played in the rain. The unique think they did was building a retractable roof...but it's like a carport rather than a garage if that makes sense. Basically the fans and the field are protected from the rain, but you still feel the other elements with the roof on. Wind, cold, etc. The stadium itself is a very classic baseball stadium...looked like old (in a good way) even though it was brand new.

Damn thing is 17 years old already...ffs I'm getting old.

If we build it to the docks it doesnt mean rats arse if its capacity isnt as big as liverpools. Mole hill over mountain and stuff...
Why does it matter? I'd be embarrassed to admit to that.

I'm not sure what their new capacity is, exactly - low 60 thousands isn't it? If we built a ground with, say, a 58,000 capacity
I'd be happy with that, especially if it was in a spectacular location on the river bank.

I don't think supporters of those clubs with new stadiums could claim bragging rights based on capacity, alone.

It currently has a 54k capacity, BUT it has A BIG STAND.

I agree with you. You know...capacity will probably be the only thing they can cling into after we go puplic with our plans. Dock site alone gives us infinite bragging rights
