Don't know about that tbh. I reckon a lot of the pubs around depend on the match day takings.
Wont expect you tell me who Mr Mouse is if its code, but that true? I know it went bust a few years back mind.

Didn't know they owned the pub
Not 100% sure they 'own' it but have helped to get it reopened and get it up and running as a business. The club are also currently addressing the poor condition of a lot of properties surrounding the ground. Repairs and redecoration to a number of houses and businesses are well underway.Didn't know they owned the pub

Only a despicable low life would let a community go to rot and have people forced from their houses through fear and desperation. Imagine a club actually doing that on its own doorstep, to its own fans, to the community that helped breath life into it when it was nothing. Just imagine...Remember reading about that.
Would be dreadful to really let the area rot and build a big new stand though. Cant ever see a proper football club doing that.

Honestly can't see that happening. Kenwright gets a lot of flak but I honestly think he'll see the community right.Surely wouldnt be allowed. I would be ashamed if Everton did that. Sure anyone with the remotest connection to our great City would feel the same.

New hub about 70% done. Will try to get pics if I remember. Got a couple today of main stand work but can't get them to upload. I know.Being very, very ironic mate. As far as I know, tons of stuff is already being done, by the club, to spruce up not just the ground, but also the surrounding properties.
Read something on here about an EITC Hub being developed close by as well, with drop in centres and the like for the elderly, disabled, homeless, (I think), and stuff for the kids as well.
It seems that even if Everton play their home games on the docks in a few years, they will never ever actually leave their home to do so.
