New Everton Stadium

Very highly regarded and extremely successful. Wish I was that 'flaky' :)
Exactly. When you look at the projects he has been involved in I would describe him as innovative and successful. Let's just hope he doesn't disappoint us with our designs, but as ever with all stadium designs there won't be universal approval. But I think we can all agree it won't be the bland and unispiring designs that we saw for Kirkby.

Dave mate what do you reckon they were doing down bramley moor dock on Friday then ?
The cynic in me believes it suited both parties: Anderson and Moshiri to be seen doing something. In all probability there are tentative talks about opening up a dialogue with Peel, but we're still miles off...as I believe the AGM will demonstrate.

The way I look at it is this, from the very inception of the idea of us moving to the docks we have had a few people on here who had info straight away (@Jacko93, @The Esk). Nobody seemed to have any relevant info on Stonebridge Cross.
Joe Anderson was pictured at a meeting with Bill and Farhad and then continued to allude to the dock site with his not so cryptic tweets.
Bill and Farhad were obviously happy to be photographed with Joe and for it to be released.
As time has progressed, the Everton delegation has now been photographed at BMD (Farhad and Joe having a cuddle). This was clearly set up for the benefit of the media.
No photographs or confirmation of a visit to Stonebridge Cross have yet emerged (or are likely to in my opinion)
Sound City event has now moved from BMD to Clarence Dock for 2017 having been at BMD for previous years.
Everything is pointing to the dock site, nothing has emerged to the contrary. Farhad will be under no illusions as to how important this is for us. He doesnt appear to be the type to settle for second best from what I can see.
Dan Meis appears to have been the chosen architect, which again alludes to Farhad not being happy with second best as some of his work is amazing.
He does seem to be buying into the Nil Satis Nisi Optimum ethos. Things just take time.

This post is a disgrace
Too much common sense
Too much positivity supported by empirical evidence
Too much that can't be argued with or poo poo'd
Neg rep and ban if I had my way

Just look at his track record before you start insulting the man.
I'm not insulting his talent, it's clear he is gifted. I'm questioning his behaviour. It's not that he has a twitter account in this instance (unlike a footy manager he's not the subject of hundreds of journos and opposition fans combing his activity for embarrassing tweets) it's the content, which are bereft of the type of gravitas I'd associate with someone in his position.

Whatever the design, lets take the Etihad as the best example of how not to do it. With its concrete structure and high roofing its got to be the poorest new stadium acoustically there is. For a modern design it doesn't even address the need to keep everyone dry, since the roofing is barely aligned with the front rows and is so high the rain drifts in anyway up to about 15 rows back.

The only thing that's good about it is the area given over to wheelchair bound supporters. It's the only ground i am aware of where this area is not at pitch level. Instead it provides great views, from the back of the lower tier, made possible I guess in that this is actually at ground floor entrance level since the pitch is below ground level.

You should read the nasty comments on rawk about this already. I've read that Moshiri went to the docks for a publicly stunt and no intention of building a new stadium. The other comment is about why bother with a new stadium as we are small fry. Lol

The fume from them will be huge if we get the docks

There are some particularly bitter posters over there getting a little bit flustered at talk of us going for a bigger capacity than them. Apparently it would be a vanity project as we "can't sell out now", despite having sold out every home game already, as well as Crystal Palace's returned allocation in the Friday night game the other week lol.

They are very erratic and non-circumspect for a serious professional. As I say, it just comes across as flaky and I cant take the comments he makes seriously.

I wonder what @The Esk thinks?

I doubt he's tweeting without the consent of the club given the level of engagement he's entered with the fans - he's conversed with @ToffeeDoug for example.

On that basis I am relaxed about it. I think the bigger issue is as usual our own PR stance where the fans get told nothing. The lack of direction and information from the club allows speculation and leaves others to fill the void.

We have a marketing and PR 'expert' in charge of communications at the club. What I don't understand is his strategy, or even if he has one?

Leaks to Andy Hunter and implied consent of tweets by hired professionals is not the correct way of communicating in my opinion.

This is what R's are saying to help them sleep at night.

Dave mate it more forwards then what we know , it's a massive regeneration scheme for Liverpool as a city which it deserves and what us blue fans deserves too
