New Everton Stadium

As a reflective point, I would guess that no football club have ever built more than 2 stadiums, like, ever. So far anyrate. Developed, moved, made all seater, but from scratch, actually built more than 2 brand new grounds.

So this new place is for 100 years. Not next season, or the season after that.

It will be just the absolute DBs, convinced of it.

i think juve are on to their 3rd now

Well, amazingly and finally it looks like I was right and the club are going to do something properly..amazing what a change of owner can do for the future of the club.

I am delighted we're going for this option because I've been shouting the odds on this location for longer than I care to think. Partly because of the iconic location but chiefly for the use of vacant land in the right place. The only thing we really should be wary of is the weather - it must be totally enclosed otherwise we'll be freezing cold and very windy on occasions.

You call him Dan like he's a friend of yours. Have you ever met him or spoken with him?

I explained to you months ago that any purchase would be have to be subject to PP after you were adamant the purchase was completed in August. You've since been using the 'subject to PP' phrase a lot.

I can help get the feeling that you love to give the impression you're in the know, rather that actually knowing stuff.

Common knowledge amongst the non-delusional that he's a pretender.

That's a weird choice of verb, isn't it? The Mersey isn't particularly oozey.
When you get a 10.1m tide it's more like torrential...I think he might mean all the brown stuff the wools and mancs used to send down back in the day, now newspapers just spout it - still poor descriptive prose, probably closet or not so closet rs

its not that far out mate, within walking distance if you are able bodied. We went the arse game and went for a couple of pints near the kings dock first and it was quite a nice walk alongside the river from the city. Throw in a couple of half decent alehouses on the way for a pit stop and you're well set for the game. Its a fab place and if the local area gets built up, which it will, the whole area will be fab.

I hate to tell you this Arch, but even I know nobody uses 'fab' any more, except maybe girls of 12-14 (if then) and in old re runs of Thunderbirds.

and to use it twice in the one sentence...

*phones sad police to report @arch stanton; sorry mate, it's for you own good.

And the point of this post is?
Get a life fella, you seriously getting irate because someone referred to another by the Christian name?
Have you seen what's happening in Syria?

Good to see you back Bobby. You tried hard for the club but it was not to be. :)
The Esk had a bad summer but he got a couple of big calls right before that and has just been vindicated with his wiping the debt ITK info.
When I heard the Mosh interview I was struck by the similarity of tone with Esk's positive pronouncements months before.
For example wanting a big name to compete in the North West Hollywood of football managers.
Rightly or wrongly I concluded that he had been privy to the Moshiri vision (spin?) perhaps second or third hand.
