I was of the understanding that their corporate will be huge therefore they don't care about the amount of peons in the stadium as they aren't revenue generators. It is a bit small-time.
Even Tottenham's new stadium will be bigger than that.

Apologies mate- I'm a sensitive, easily offended little flower - or a tosser, your call.Well, this wasn't the way I intended this to come across. Sorry about that mate.
As Goat said, finance isn't my field - which was what my post was meant to convey - and I've seen people say you know your stuff when it comes to that so it was a "I'll leave this to the people who know what they're on about" sort of post.

DO ITnow this needs a poll...

But to gain max benefit, we would need to be owners, I think.
Chelsea have a massive support base - certainly on a par if not in excess of Spurs. Easily the biggest club in SE / SW London and spreading to all home counties including Berks, Surrey, Sussex. Added to that are the substantial tourists who go to Stamford Bridge. They'd have no problem filling 65k - but would hopefully drop their prices so more locals could go.Trust me Chelsea will struggle to max out a 65K stadium.....they are not on the same level as Arsenal and Spurs mate they are the Major clubs in London

Have to agree to disagree on this, having lived in west London for best part of 20 years they share a catchment area with QPR, Fulham and Brentford all of which have solid if not massive support. from my time here and speaking and meeting fans here not many more Chelsea fans than the other clubs but Spurs and Arsenal command massive support in London and outside too.
Even WHU rival Chelsea in support
Their corporate and premium levels will contribute more that the rest of the stadium for every match, dont think they are banking on filling it every week TBH, all though getting younger support formed a part of their planning application. It was to improve the community apparently.Funnily enough, this was talked about on Hawksbee and Jacobs today. Jacobs, (a massive Chelsea fan) said that the fact remains, that Chelseas core support of 40 to 50 year olds is nowhere near as solid as the other PL London clubs because of the rep their hooligans engendered in the 80s.
Basically, swathes of youngsters back then opted for other London clubs instead of Chelsea.
Also, they wernt very good.
So, in conclusion, their history pre PL was pretty patchy. Hence their core support now. In London/SE anyrate.
That's old hat my friend!
