Talks about talks and a planning application in a year ('hopefully').
Not happening - smoke and mirrors.
It suits the council and club's politics.
The club will never settle the stadium issue under Kenwright and his backers.
Even the most vocal supporter of our current board would struggle to argue a case against what you say. Experience tells us that our delivery record for a scheme of any scale is zeroAt this stage no plan, no design, no financing outlined, they might as well be say having a site and the council on board are all the club needs to attract a takeover because thats all it seems to be at present. Still your looking at someone picking up the tab for a 200m build on top of the sale price for a new owner. Buying more time at best for me.
They just need to sell the club and let someone else come in with the dough and vision to get this done first time.
I reckon it'll be called the Chang Arena and Elstone will come out boasting that he got Chang to give us an extra fiver a year for the next 20 years.
It won't be a Tesco-Dome...It'll be a Sainsburys-Dome. Remember there were claims that in August 2007 that Siansburys put an offer on the table to build in Walton Hall Park but Bill and the boys were hell bent on Kirkby and it petered out
Anyone think Chang could be a major player in this if this site has now been approved?,they have for good or bad stuck around for a fair few years now.
I've seen better in Walton Hall Park mate!apologies for off topic, but how was this goal in the Everton U21 game...?

Could we see a hotel built next to the ground? Many possibilities with all that space available..a major work
