New Everton Stadium

60k is definatly doable IMO.

remeber this is going to be an iconic stadia in the middle'ish of town. we will get allsorts of new comers to the ground. (whether thats good or bad uit still puts money in our pockets)

Agreed 60k is defo possible. Without going over too much previous ground, we are filling 40k now despite 10% being restricted views, if the away allocation isn't used we are using up that too. So if we can increase the away area by a couple of thousand + the couple of thousand extra we fill when there isn't a full away end that takes it up to 44ish k. 6-8 thousand will be hospitality or premium seating so we are up to 50-52k (regardless if these are used on matchday or not) leaving us 8 to 10k extra that we need to find.

Some games that's a given anyhow, then you will get the people put off paying full price to see half a pitch that may come back to watch Everton again, the new stadium bounce, tourists and this is all without being successful. Worst comes to the worst they can always create 5 or so thousand cheap tickets to bring in new supporters to keep the stadium to near capacity.

Anything short of 60k will be a sign that we are not as ambitious as we should be. We don't need what we are going to fill now guaranteed, we need to be able to grow. (as in full price tickets once everything is in place and we are storming the league) ;)

Keep thinking we are small time and we will always be that way. We need to think big as we are one of the biggest clubs in world football. Now is the time to prove it.

55k with potential to build an extra 10-15k more seats. Someone from the mishiri/Usmanov regime has been travelling Europe looking at stadiums and getting information. Huge progress made within' the last week considering the ground.

You're spot on, 55k is too small. New stadium bounce and opening up the stadium to the entire Merseyrail network will alone see a good few thousand on the gates. The accessibilty of the site shouldn't be underestimated.

You don't need to but just passing on information I've been told. I wouldn't believe it myself to be honest with you. Just got lucky over the last few week to be in meetings with high up people of Merseyside.

The staff at The Panoramic?

Just joking, cheers for the info.

Don't WHU get 50k now. When they use to get 30k. people will fill the stadium , little doubt in my mind

They do - but those additional 20K are essentially not West Ham fans but rather a random mob of East London scruffs enticed by cheap admission prices to watch decent PL teams stuff West Ham every other week....hence all the fighting in the ground.

Good point about the away fans, something that has largely been overlooked. If we increase capacity by nearly 20k, I have no issue with offering 2k more away seats.

Not just that. The new ground is actually more convenient to get to.
Internatuonal train station close by . 7 mins journey from central London and also number of rail and underground lines close too.
Thays why its very important that the infrastructure is sorted for Bramley Moore ....the fair weather fans wouldnt fancy walking down the Dock Road for 30 mins on a cold wet windy Tursday night.
