The dome shape encourages space between the pitch and stands.

If after what City and West Ham have experienced they go for a similar shape then that cant be acceptable.

But why would they? City and Wham are

Gutted a Allianz Style bowl would have looked ace on the docks. No doubt it'll be some square to appease the all grey arl arses

Doesn't mean to say the outside 'skin' can't be like the Allianz

Stadium of Light was quite visionary when it opened. Needs updating after 29 years but still looks stunning atop the River Wear.

A shame it hasn't aged well as a refurbished Goodison would still be stunning. A special ground.

If we find it lacking in atmosphere the way a lot of new stadiums tend to, the club should just give the supporters some megaphones.
Nothing's gonna intimidate other teams more than a load of beaked up, snarling ketwigs.

Chelsea's new gaff might be a bit ugly, but I reckon it'll age well. It kinda looks like a monument so it'll never look dated.

A brick/stone design to complement the dock area could have the same effect for Everton.
