You would have thought the fan base (season ticket holders) would have been consulted about their wishes towards the design. If they are consulted for something as trivial as next years kit, it begs the question why weren't they consulted over something as important as a new stadium.

Not a great comparison... A football kit is a bit of fabric that lasts a year before being tossed away to be found only on a clearance rack in your local sports shop. A stadium needs to last 50 years - what we Evertonians think about a stadium design now will likely be very different to what we think in several decades, so it doesn't make much sense to consult us.

dont bother, much ado about nothing, hearing the only way forward is a tenancy agreement, we will not own the stadium or anything connected to it, the relevant investors are more interested in the EPL branding, Everton are a means to an end.

Said it before but Meis has caved in to the arl arses in our fanbase who want a dated square shaped ground.

Imagine how boss that new Roma ground or the Allianz lit in blue would look on the banks of the Mersey that's what we should have been after.

Funnily enough, the Roma stadium is square(ish) on the inside and round(ish) on the outside. It's like a Tardis, which coincidentally, is what I'm told the BMD will be shaped as.
