I, sadly, know what you mean.
I suspect we all do.
Is anyone geared up for disappointment?
Completely agree mate. If loads of the really big hitting journalists and media outlets had been summoned well in advance for Thursday I think it could rightly be disco time. It is looking like the very basic agreement at this stage, no purchases etc but that's a good step forward.
Someone would know for certain.
So you are saying 5-7 weeks despite most things pointing at it being announced on Thursday?, sound.
Nope, just the tweetsFor those of us on the other side of the world and not up on the local coverage ..... Other than a silly tweet from the mayor , is there any other reason to believe something is actually happening on Thurs ? Are we any closer to this stadium plan than we were with the Kings Dock project ?
We are all desperate for something ....
I think it was more than tenuous.Nothing will happen Thursday.
Most tenuous twitter link ever on this one. People read way too much in to trivial tweets.
From last Sunday.
With this GIF on the wall of the new main stand
I'm not arsed if anything significant gets announced Thursday tbh, I actually just enjoy the excitement that something may just happen, and all the years of hoping something good would happen might actually happen.
I say let folk get excited, it's been far too long where we've had nothing good to shout about and who knows, maybe, just maybe we might get some good news.
If not we'll all still be on here posting away about other boss Everton related stuff
You would have thought the fan base (season ticket holders) would have been consulted about their wishes towards the design. If they are consulted for something as trivial as next years kit, it begs the question why weren't they consulted over something as important as a new stadium.
