Lots of pop up bars have been constructed in the north west, especially in places like spinning fields in manc. That could work well as they'd only need to operate on match days and thus have low overheads the rest of the time. The club/council could encourage the current landlords of pubs like the Winslow to get involved?
Soon as the stadium built we own the landI'm still uneasy about us not owning the site. Being a wool, I don't know what Liverpool council is like but near me, Swindon Council own Swindon town's stadium and it causes all kind of problems. (Although a corrupt badly run club and dim witted country bumpkin councillors with Hitler mentalities, are probably mostly responsible for that!)
