Thought so. So that's another £25-30m spent? That's just the headline fees mate. It excludes the 15% for Barnsley for Stones, the compo for Clown shoes, Ronald, Walsh etc.

Yes, they did. And here's what it looks like without the track...
...boss isn't it?
Are you his chauffeur or something? You seem very protective of Uncle Joe.No it doesn't.
He's struck a deal that the council will benefit to the tune of £177m over the next 40 years, that total is subject to interest and inflation so will likely be more. Not one penny has come out of the councils budget, insinuate all you want but they are the facts.
Around £25m I reckon.Thought so. So that's another £25-30m spent?
Right, so moving into an athletics stadium was the plan the whole timeDon't forget it's not just the running track. We need the long jump and high jump areas too.
Plus the pitch will take a fearful pounding from Javelin / Discus / hanmer events too and the opening / closing ceremony
Are you his chauffeur or something? You seem very defensive of Uncle Joe.
They used Hampden because the contour invited a track incorporation. Everton's will also if a track is to be fitted in it.The original design of that stadium isn't the point though. They built a raised platform to accommodate a track.
There's no reason that same principle couldn't be used, albeit with a higher platform to give a wide enough circumference.
If the stadium design were to be compromised in order to facilitate a track, then I doubt many would be behind it, including Moshiri, as it would contradict Meis's brief, which was all about atmosphere.

Although it'd be incredibly bitter, I'd be interested to see where Moshiri pulling out today and where it would put us. Not as bitter as those desperate for something with Moshiri to go wrong so they could say I told you so on the internet.Fed up.... totally fed up...with all the wining, bitching, moaning nay-sayers who are telling some bloke who is the financial controller of one of the worlds richest individuals and who literally doubled that individual's fortune with his savy how we should finance the dream waterfront stadium we have been praying for.
If I was him and I read some of these idiots posts who with there schoolboy accountancy and finger wagging who probably can't meet their own gas bills and are telling him is is shady and he's not allowed to make money...... Shady after 20 years of ducking and diving with offshore loans and Philip Green..then telling him he should do this and that
I'd say duck you lot and call in my £80 million loan, get my money back from the land sale and sell my shares to someone like the Venkey's..... There's a gift horse round the corner... go look in its mouth.
I wouldn't worry about it. Not happening.i dont like it, next

That what they're wishing happens, but I take your point, as said it'd be incredibly bitter. You sacrifice a potential £400m windfall to spite some lads on a forum hahahahahaha lol lol lol lol
Absolutely crying at this flounce.
