New Everton Stadium

It wasn't long ago where some on here were saying that Peel was going to pull the plug on this deal as it wouldn't suit them...

I imagine once the finances go through, the conversation will turn to "Just watch the planning permission fall through" then when that doesn't "I hear the cost of steel is increasing, we'll never be able to afford the extra cost" then... "1000 pounds per square meter for new grass, they're having a laugh"... and finally "You have any idea how much new lawn mowers cost... oh wait..."

I can understand the scepticism given the history we have but at some point, you're going to have to just enjoy the ride, wherever that should take us

A local politician who's baby this is.

We'll see.

Hopefully I'm wrong and you're right. I doubt it though. We'll still be talking a good game about a stadium in a decade, imo.

*resists urge to post confidential stadium designs and detailed build plans....

I know where you are coming from and the club do have form in tearing hope from our hearts, but for whatever reason, well Moshiri really, fans genuinely believe this is going to happen this time......

You can bring a horse to water but your ant make it drink.
Some posters obviously have personal issues with Anderson and are using this stadium and it's financing to bash Anderson.
Some (same) posters have issues with Moshiri because he sacked our brown shoes leader and have a go at Moshiri over this
Logic doesn't really come into it

Oh look, Everton engagin with fans over the proposed move. Bu they wouldn't according to some.

*awaits post to say this is a sham and decisions have already been made

...I looked at some initial comments and they appeared overwhelmingly to request 'no running track' and 'stands close to the pitch'.

I suspect a number of Reds fans will register and submit ante-comments. Only other point I would make is that I think a high-level design has already been undertaken.

They can't, need a customer number...
