I'd rather go to a real Pub.
On the contrary, its entirely possible and the way it could be done has been documented by architects and has also been explained in this thread already.
For some reason some people are keen on swallowing the clubs propaganda that it isn't possible though.
The current footprint is too small.
The funny thing is if you had knowledge of the situation you'd realise the club were the ones who originally had plans drawn up, and those plans were then torn apart by people from Blue Kipper because the actual site where Goodison sits is too small.
You could not build a worthwhile expansion on the site of our current stsdium. End of.
I'm satisfied with the current location. I'm satisfied with the bullens road and gwladys street stands. I was satisfied with the Kings Dock. Kirkby and WHP don't satisfy me.Evertonians are never satisfied.......
They said the same within OT several decades ago......The current footprint is too small.

Its totally irrelevant whether the club had implausible plans drawn up or not. The FACT is that there are other plans which are plausible.
Its not the "end of" at all. You can do it and there are various options. I've been in contact with an architect and discussed it.
If are interested in seeing what some of the options are PM me an email address and I'll send you a draft of one of the documents.
Length of time this has been mooted(twenty years?)we could have had a redeveloped Goodison.killed it stone dead for me
potential site must be well served by pubs
erm hang on aren't we already well served by pubs
just blue skying here... why don't we slowly increase the footprint and do one side at a time
nah, never catch on that, way too radical
They said the same within OT several decades ago......
Oh, and St James Park (capacity 51,000) is smaller than the GP footprint.
GP itself might be a smallish footprint but it is rich in potential for land grab at little cost.
Knock down the park end and put something bigger
Conservatorys are too chavy......or add an extension or conservatory.
Thats the starting point, make it a double decker stand increasing the stand from 6000 to 12000,the capacity would pretty much be covered around the current level 39000 in a staged redevelopment, however long that may take(another twenty yearslol)Knock down the park end and put something bigger
Little cost?....how long did Liverpool take to "evict" the residents nearby. They said the same within OT several decades ago......
