New Everton Stadium

Just looking at the Bullens then. The overhang covers around 15 rows, so that would be 30 rows of seats on a footprint of 15 rows of seats, ie lower plus upper.

The Upper Bullens first row starts what would be about row 12 of the lower (counting gangway as a row). That's very close to the pitch. 12 rows x 660mm(estimated) = 7920mm. plus distance from pitch to first row

So 12 rows of seats x single
16 rows of seats x double =32 rows
2 rows upper back single

There's probably no stand in the country more intimate and with as many fans as close to the pitch as that.

A modern day equivalent but to the correct capacity and of course fit for 21st Century no obstructed views etc would be immense.

What's the best overhang these days with obstructed views?

How close can a third tier go?

...The Daily Mail reporting; 'real estate company CBRE who are working with Everton say the club's new stadium will bring £1 billion to the local economy. And with a capacity that could reach 60,000 the state of the art venue is set to bring an additional £94m in hotel bookings, retail and tourist spend.'

Sounds like 'benefit realisation' detail that supports any business case but perhaps more information on the build could be imminent.

And that is 100% the real reason why the SPV thing was rushed through LCC. The CWG was a convenient fig leaf.
