New Everton Stadium

Yet the Board are still dependent on a handout from somewhere or someone. That seems to be their plan it appears.

Its called 'risk mitigation'

The club wants partners to share the risk.

Its poor business management to take on extreme risk.

The issue is its also poor business management to accept BS and failure as acceptable. Or continued delays. this too is becoming an EXTREME RISK to the club.

In no world with this influx of tv money is it acceptable for us to not go for it. (Stadium construction)

Its right there in front of us.

My concern now than money and finances is getting planning permission approval. Damn hard to get it on greenfield sites much of the time

I have form for long term financial projections on football clubs.

That come true.

Everton are now at a critical juncture.

If things dont start happening in the near term

We could go in a very poor long term direction.

The reverse is true if we sieze this tremendous opportunity.

Equally 2nd best isn't good enough. A 55,000+ stadium is needed. And of top top quality.

Theres a social responsibility to renew Liverpool.

Jobs and new infrastructure.

Theres lots of derelict houses/sites to be torn down that can replace any green site lost here. Hell the club could help this long term with extra revenue plus business surrounding us paying all the extra business rates to LCC since businesses would want to be around a us

Obviously. Hence that is how we've gone about it with the regeneration plans with new social housing and freshening up WHP with new leisure facilities. But nonetheless, people always raise a furore about taking up greenspace, and the bitter kopites will quite happily jump on those bandwagons.
