New Everton Stadium

Almost a year now since this was announced.
And we still haven't had a bat man lights picture

I wouldn't worry mate it's almost a year, there were rumours that Everton were considering a ground move as early as 1996/1997, since then to name a few we have had the King's Dock, Sharing a proposed stadium on Stanley Park, Gillmoss, Kirkby & now Walton Hall Park. So in nearly 20 years still no nearer. I don't trust any of them from our board, Liverpool City Council & any other committees that are involved, I just don't see it going ahead but hope I'm wrong as it needs to go ahead or stay at Goodison and redevelop it into a 55,000-seater stadium. To see so many other clubs that have new stadiums or in the process of getting new stadiums just tells you something is sadly wrong.

In my time of following Everton all we have done is the Park End Stand with a capacity of 6,000, I don't know what it cost but we had a contribution of £1.3M from the Football Trust.

Carcraft at Gillmoss closed down within last week - is site big enough to build a ground - option??
Not going to happen mate.
WaltonHall Park is the Only site.
Council backed...Club backed...and hopefully Fan backed.
System is in place , plans drawn ,partners being brought in .
Too late to start wondering if Gillmoss or Festival gardens should be considered.
Decision has been made and things are moving behind the scenes...time to accept it.

Hope your right mate but remember the kings dock fiasco started in 2001, then the announcement finally came in 2003 rejecting the proposal.

This is the best bit of reading about the kings dock,
Everton will hope the building of the stadium, about five miles from Goodison Park, goes smoother than yesterday's announcement in an office block housing a Titanic exhibition.
A promotional video opened with a shot of Francis Jeffers, who joined Arsenal last month, while, within moments of Kenwright's closing speech, an information panel broke free of its wall mounting and crashed to the floor.

Think the difference with WHP is the "Right People" are behind this and pushing it through.
From what I've heard we certainly wont be disapointed.

And the funding is in place right now is it? it,s the little details that trips everything up.

Kings Dock was happening, Kirkby was happening and the annexe was definitely happening but its delayed due to IT issues.

I would not believe a word that comes out from Everton regarding a new ground. June 2016 it will officially collapse is my guess.
With all due respect "o wise one" Kings Dock as much as we might have wanted it without the finance it was Never Happening ,Kirkby without the right permission was Never Happening.
There is a lot different with this one ,just wait & see......you might even be amazed.
