New Everton Stadium

If Chelsea and City had the funds of Everton that "competent" board would not be building stadiums and the team would likely be in the championship.

Lets look at the competent ManCity board and compare that with Evertons.

Man Citys talked with the owners of their ground and the dialogue brought about the expansion.

Evertons incompetent board didnt talk to the Pru, the company that securitsed Goodison to, and couldnt build a shop on the corner of Goodison Road as a consequence.

Go Compare.

You are using two of the wealthiest clubs in the world to point out the failings of the Everton board.
UsingCity and Chelsea as the yardstick 99% of clubs in the world would look poor.
At least use clubs that Everton are in some way comparable to highlight the deficiencies.
So who shall we compare ourselves with?Spurs,no thtas not fair they are a London club,Sunderland,Newcastle,no thats not fair
they are one city one club
Bolton,Middlesborough,Wigan,Coventry,Chester,Shrewbury who shall we compare ourselves with?

With all due respect Jaycee , if you can't figure that out for yourself. There really isn't much point in me trying to tell you.

That was BS, that site was never going to be a stadium. Even Chelsea with their money are having difficulty moving grounds, but at least they have been honest with their fans, unlike Everton who just make stuff up and hope the fans will forget what they've said!

Situation at Chelsea is very different though. Chelsea wanted to move to the site of Battersea Power Station but lost out from a bid by Malaysian investors. However Chelsea also have the Chelsea Pitch Owners to consider who in 2011 rejected a bid by Abramovich to reacquire the freehold to the pitch.

Hence today Chelsea are looking at redeveloping SB rather than moving.

But Im asking who,we are one of only a handful of teams that have been a permanent resident of the premier league, still one of he biggest names
in English football have decent attendances yet are unable to build a set of offices,so who do we compare ourselves to because every time a
comparison is made theres an excuse why we are not like said team
