New Everton Stadium

Speaking of transportation systems, I note the monorail at Disneyland carries 150,000 passengers per day
I came back from Disney World Orlando a couple of weeks back & it took an hour to get to the car after the fireworks in Magic Kingdom. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a higher number than that. It was a 25 minute wait just to get on the tram that takes you to your car after the monorail.

Think I will be walking back to Liverpool one, hitting every pub on the way instead.

Probably won’t be any news on the stadium until 15th November when the consultation begins

Magic a kingdom capacity is 75000 paying guests. There is also around 4000 staff leaving at the same time.

Off topic but my mind is boggled by what the HR dept of Disney has to do. They employ 65000 in Florida the majority of which are seasonal. They must turnover hundreds of staff per week.

It’s a fantastic place, I’ve been maybe 12 times I think. Kids are older now but me and the wife are going nexy year, just the two of us. Will be much more relaxing without snotty nosed kids to look after.

Nice. First trip last June, with a 7 and 4 year old in tow. Stunning feat of engineering, logistics and operations management. Slick doesn't do it justice. On the downside, it is ruinously expensive once you are there.

Honestly - Brighton v Burnley and Huddersfield v Palace.

Give me a proper English football game over any European stuff.

The competition became null and void in 85 and has remained like that ever since.
I find it immensley boring, but I am probably in the minority.
But which do you think has the greater global appeal? Living in Australia I see hundreds of kids with Barca, Madrid and nowadays Juventus shirts. The only Burnley or Palace shirts I see are belonging to kids whose parents grew up in that area. It is the same when I go on holiday to SE Asia.
A European league may not hold much appeal for the English fan, but you are not the target market

Hanson Heidelberg Cement Group have applied for Planning Permission for a temporary Concrete Plant, for 3 years, to be situated on the edge of Collingwood Dock and Salisbury Dock off Regent Road. My guess preparations for the Stadium build are ramping up, as their is a similar Concrete Plants in Aintree, Sandhills and Garston already.

..promising, but I expect there’ll be a lot of building work going on at that end of the Dock Road.
