New Everton Stadium

Exactly.

WHP should be the line. Fail with that and they should be forced out by all means possible. I think most fans would agree.

I don't mind either option. But the fact is our competitiveness based on the premier league tv-money wages increase rules mean that this is a pressing issue

Since the commercial performance of the club under this board are poor to say the least.

WHP cant be showed under the rug anymore. im with you there mate. to every word.

*and i genuinely believe board knows this too, they know fans wont take another hit.

Of course they will. Have done since Johnston. BK will have some kind of sob story about how some buyers let him down then onto the boys pen story and almost everyone will go AAAH poor Bill loves this club....and anyone dares speak against him will be chastised. You know it and I know it.

I think even the commercial performance comes down to the stadium. The way these deals work it's all about personal relationships and perks. If you were signing a deal for a company you worked for to give us sponsorship etc and one of the perks was having a box at a new modern stadium or Goodison which do you think you would go for?

I know of a major international company that was looking for conference facilities for an event.

This is one of the worlds largest companies.

They looked at Liverpool and United. Liverpool was too scruffy and they eventually chose United.

They didn't look at us because our facilities were not big enough.

We have stayed reasonably competitive and thankfully during that time most of the other clubs haven't moved ahead either. Now with them all making progress in that department I think this time might be different.

I'm telling you it will be different this time due to financial rules.

Off course. My wife works a bit in this field, corporate pre-sales etc and it's all about the shiny newness and perks of the job. I think that's what some fans just don't realize. The increase in the amount of tickets isn't the most important thing.

I really hope you are right. Something needs to happen or we will still be moaning on here is 15 years times that we should do something.

Its the whole package.

Prestige.

Our stadium needs to look modern. Plus be big and drag people in.

This will pull in money into the club.

What do you mean?

Premier league wage rules limit squad wage increases per year to £4million based on tv money.

All other increases must be based on other revenues.

We can have loads of tv money and be rich. But unable to use it.

Different regulatory environment to previously.
