Well he is from Dublin lolpardon the pub ha
They might not know the difference lolEasy when 60%+ of orders are for it. I can only imagine at a ground in England it would be less than 15%. Someone is going to get a very warm Guinness.
It looks good but that roof doesn't look like it's gonna protect the lower tiers much.
Well he is from Dublin lol
I'm glad someone else noticed. I remember going to the first NFL game at Wembley and the whole of the lower tier at one end had to head for the concourse as the rain was coming down diagonally. That roof looks far worse to me, some people are going to get wet!
I guess they have done that to try and let as much light on the pitch as possible to help the grass, but I hope ours has a bit more shelter. Colder up north!
The pitch literally moves under and out the stadium to get the sun and swap for NFL games.
It's just bad designing really to appease the Americans.
Quite sad really as I like Spurs but they've kind of lost what's meant to be a football stadium.
Compare it to West Hams situation but swap distance from the pitch with match day experience.

I don't really know where to start with this. The roof is what it is, nothing to do with Americans. It's no better or worse than most other modern stadiums.
The pitch goes under a podium when not in the stadium, it doesn't go outside the stadium to get the sun.
Yeah, I think there's been a misunderstanding. The point of the retractable pitch isn't to help the pitch get sunlight, the pitch will get that inside the stadium, which is where it'll be 95% of the time.
The point of the retractable pitch is so we can have two different surfaces. Our grass pitch will never be buggered up by NFL/concerts etc like Wembley's is. It's only for us.
Anyway, there's no room for the pitch to be stored outside the stadium. We don't have a plot more than two football pitches long. When there's a non-football event on, half the pitch will actually be under the south stand itself, the other half under the podium.

yay! .. another survey, we must be getting close
Following the first stage of our formal public consultation and as part of our commitment to engage with Evertonians on our new stadium project, we are inviting you to take part in a Transport Survey.
Your responses to the survey will be invaluable as we seek to gain a detailed understanding of how supporters intend to travel to a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
The findings of the survey will help us to deliver our ‘Transport and Access Plan’ and inform our designs and planning application for a new stadium.
