New Everton Stadium

Because the only purpose the Blue Union has is keeping us at Goodison. That's more important than the success of the club.

I cannot agree with that. As you know this current board cannot fund a new stadium. If they cannot themselves fund a new stadium then why are they even looking at new sites. If we could afford it then I am sure that most fans would say it is the way forward but we can't. Redevelopment is an alternative that could possibly be afforded.

It's a very narrow minded argument, but at least it appeases some of there supporters.
I wish they would just stop. It totally takes the pressure of the board to actually get something done because the rest of us can't get behind something like this. Classic divide and conquer except we're dividing ourselves.

What about WHP? The option now on the agenda? The first time in my knowledge the club and council have actually agreed on a suitable destination that was primarily identified for Evertons new stadium?
That's the reason why I think they have had the vote now. They actually fear this one might go ahead.

They have painted themselves into that safe corner. It's a strategic move. It will assure them some fanatic fan base when inevitable move from Goodison twitches on..

Lets be honest. If they did you would still find something to gripe about. For one reason or another the BU is an enemy of yours for reasons only known to yourself. BK and Co have had plenty of time to come up with working options but they have failed yet you let your poison out on the BU.

That's just total bullshit.

You know its not. You have a problem with BU but not BK. Best to admit it and you will feel relief.

You see there's the chip on the BU shoulder. I've never mentioned Kenwright ive questioned the BU solutions.

You, clearly as a BU supporter, find it easier to liable people either pro Kenwright or anti BU without reading what they write. That's why you'll never get any recognition with mainstream Blues.

What other alternative is there if the board cannot find the funds for a new stadium. Its an alternative and not making sure we stay at Goodison but probably the only alternative we have going by previous failings of the board

You are good at twisting things. Its OK for you to ridicule the BU but when challenged for your bullying of the BU you accuse BU of bullying. You seriously have a problem. You throw crap but can't take it back.

I've no idea what this is meant to mean? Twisting things? Ridicule?

I've stated that if the BU really want to help the club progress as the continally proffess they should embrace the idea of a free piece of land off the council and help design a new stadium for the best of future Evertonians.
Just bum and get it over with.

I think most mainstream Evertonians do not need educating on the Kings Dock project and the involvement of Liverpool Council and Everton FC. Are you not mainstream ?

What if I'm a hipster and believe that Kings Dock was going to be called the Greggs Steak Bake Stadium until Bill saved us with his fabricated Fortress Sports Fund?

What then huh?

First time?

What about the Kings Dock, and then we have Knowsleys intervention with Kirkby?

For your information too the club were told about plans for a stadium in WHP in 2003 only for Kenwright to say at a later meeting that “the Tesco train to Kirkby is in the station” and all dialogue ceased.

But it's not the way forward. If we had the money to fund a redevelopment of Goodison then we would have the money to fund a new stadium so the funding argument is irrelevant. That's my point.

The Blue Union want redevelopment over a move to a new stadium and that's just ludicrous.

So they can use that fan base to try and prevent us to move whenever the funding is actually found. That's exactly their strategy.

that's just ludicrous.
What if we want to be ludicrous?
