New Everton Stadium

Its not even better stuff to be honest, it’s just a better environment.

Better beer would be nice but it won’t really affect the amount of people drinking massively. I don’t drink lager as a rule, I drink cask or keg quality beer, but 90% of fans will drink whatever you’ve got, and I include myself in that if I’m drinking at the game.

More food options would be good but again, most people are either in the ‘grab a bite and have a load of pints’ or ‘have a nice meal’ camps. It’s not easy to cater to both, and just a few decent options in a nice environment would help massively.

I think its more than just that mate....we offer a nice big ‘zone’ or area for family and groups....and offer, scouse pies and chang......ppl wont bother. As bars and places in the city and outside will offer better.

The key is to offer somethimg that makes ppl change the match going habbits....city and spurs have done it, to massive success and we need to change too.

City have a xbox/play station fifa cube....so loads of kids go in a big glass thing and play fifa...while dads drink germany beer and local ale outside.

You can have a hybrid style that's standard. Brick and glass stadiums are all over professional sports.

This is not a bespoke stadium. IMO.

I said earlier that I think the design team are bending over backwrads to accommodate external parties to this scheme....to pacify them. And that;s what it looks like.

That can change though once through planning.
Be honest, Dave, you'll never be happy with the design, or the manager, or the team. You'll always find fault no matter what the rest of us think.

Made this as my CP BackGround, Might keep it a while

It'd be hard not to have some form of particularity about it...it is a new stadium, after all. Brick and glass and steel...in that shape. We've seen it before. It doesn't captivate me as much as the location, I'm afraid.
I don’t see much more they could’ve done, tbh.

It’s not the generic flat pack stadium that the likes of Leicester, Middlesbrough, Bolton, etc. have, actual thought, effort and expertise has gone into the design.

I just hope they revise the capacity to something more fitting, because 52k isn’t doing this fanatic, loyal, success starved fanbase any justice.

Looks a very good stadium and a much needed stadium as Goodison is crumbling and dated although we all know it used to be the best.
No doubt people will find problems with it and infest the positivity with negs but that is life....full of plonkers.
We need to embrace it, accept it and make it as noisy as hell.

Ha Ha Ha. Talk about inversion of the truth. I think it's me who isn't allowed to have an opinion on this stadium, not you. I wonder why I'm being picked up on over the design observations that others are also making.

Have some faith in your own conclusion on it. What does it matter what I think?
