New Everton Stadium

It's been wracking my brain as to what stadium it reminds mo of and realised its not 1 stadium but 2. A mixture of both Spurs and Leicester's.
Edit; Before anyone says that I'm being taking the P, there is only so much you can do with the inside of a stadium bowl for "uniqueness."
Also, your stands look a lot nearer to the pitch than at Leicester.

Just been looking at the plans for life after Goodison and the below photo looks mental! I can't imagine Goodison not being there, as much as I want a new stadium, I'm going to miss Goodison a lot. I remember going to my first games with my dad and now take my little lad the games.

Talking about making it good so that you would wanna spend time in the stadium before or after a game (or both)
At old WHL cos of the hassle of getting served, the lack of space and the crap on offer I had not spent one penny in the stadium in well over 15 years, since the new one has been open I've spent about and average of £20 every game (but it will become less when the novelty factor wears off and after the game I start going straight back to the pub.

The lad on the extreme right looks like a zombie Evertonian wandering round waiting for the gates to open.

Stand steepness limits, especially if you're going to implement safe standing, is a rule and one which a stadium architect would be stupid to break because it risks the ground not getting a safety certificate.

He has blown the steepness limit for safe standing methinks. Unless the home end is a convex shape. There is no visible break in the stand so I guess we are relying on the laws to be relaxed in future.

We built it and called it home from 1884 to 1892

Well..... Houlding our nice Chairman until 1892 owned the land and more importantly the Sandon.

He gradually alienated the liberal non- conformist founders of EFC (St Domingo's) with his domineering and controlling views until finally the good guys said enough and went across to Goodison.

I am loath to say we owned or built the tin mine.

Ha Ha Ha.

Sasha Ryazantsev and Denise Barrett-Baxendale talking about how important a stadium will be to revenues and income in order to get back to the elite - in your world that's not the same as a facility led recovery.

'sake.

Stick a fork in this feller, he's done.
Hahaha, twisting what they said about how it was important for prestige, image, and sponsorships, and would also bring in some revenue, into a "stadium-led" "recovery". Imagine! And as always conveniently ignoring the point there on using a former executives opinion to "prove" a point, a bit embarrasing isnt it?

Having a nightmare here Davey lad, but then again I probably shouldnt be indulging you in it
