New Everton Stadium

New hotel nearer to town has already set precedent of cutting a new access entrance through Dock Wall.

Yes I saw the picture, but this is going to be a massive hole if that 3d walk around is true and I guess will be ammunition for anyone who doesn't want this to happen to throw at us. I don't think it would be terminal as they could presumably go over or under but it will increase costs and add time, so fingers crossed it just passes through PP.

Probably a requirement nowadays. You easily fill them in at a later date. Let's get the provisional planning through and signed. Then have a tinker later

Not at all.
It’s just bad design.
mrb85 is correct. The breaks are horrendous.

You only have to look at Spurs new stadium to see how they’ve place the exits in the lower tier right at the back, thus creating a complete wall of seats to the pitch.

Well now that looks 10x better. No ridiculous hybrid - no brickwork and steel and glass nonsense.

Keep it like that. I suspect it will end up like that too if it does get built.

It might be actually clever design so you don't have to then have raised concourses or alternatively staircases to reach the vomitory. This saves cash which Meis alluded to in his blog, building to a budget. Atmosphere wise I doubt it makes a big difference, however from the opposition's point of view they will be glad those areas right in the players eye lines aren't full of faces giving grief.
