Robert Earl has sold his shares mate. He no longer has any association with the club.
I will miss his total involvement and generosity of funding.........

If the transport links could have been improved they would have been by now.The thing wth WHP is the transfer links can be improved imo,
WHP is far more accessible than a city centre location. I admire the romanticism thoughLocation, location, location.
It is bad enough getting car parking or public transport to and from GP without moving to a place that's less accessible.
If the opportunity arises we must move to a city centre location to enhance our profile
The stadium at Liverpool waters ain't happening, the initial planning application has been submitted and approved i.e. what buildings will be where. There is not a chance that they'll go back to the drawing board on a 5.5bn project to facilitate a stadium. The entire application would need to resubmitted with consideration for traffic management, noise, footfall etc

Yes, still very much early days. Could take 40 years till full completion. It's not, they had outline planning permission which is nothing, each and every building would have to go through planning and gain approval for them to go ahead. The only approved buildings are a 40 storey tower and an office on Princes Dock which would affect the stadium site. Liverpool Waters is basically just a vision.

I can't see that much interest north of Princess Dock. Only the Chinese have the funds to create a domino effect.Fours years in though and still nothing is getting built and they revised the initial timescale to 30 years awhile back. It's also an enterprise zone which gives developers tax breaks and they've still had no takers besides the 40 storey tower people.
Not a bad shout. Not many pubs, but good transport links and closer to Town.Once again, I must mention the Collins playing fields on Stanley/Commercial Rd
Don't need any green light off peel for that, and it'd be visible from the waterfront.
Sadly already plans for most of the site now. Missed the boat again.I totally understand the desire for a waterfront site but it will only be a remote possibility if Peel get desperate and they have a history of patience.
The Copperas Hill shout above is interesting as the area around Lime St is an eyesore. It would need real vision & commitment from the council but if you don't ask...if nothing else it is the most creative bit of thinking in this thread for a while!
