Interesting fact about that Seattle stadium...it was designed to hold the noise. They wanted it to be the loudest stadium possible so the architects built it with that in mind.

Of course in an ideal world we'd have the rs shunted off to the outskirts like Kirkby and we'd either stay at Goodison or new ground at the docks or edge of the city centre.
However the docks/city centre seem not available and too expensive and if the new ground proposal is close by like Walton Hall Park or maybe Kirkdale then these are great locations too and shouldnt be fought against because they arnt the 'perfect' locations.

Im tempered my enthusiasim, had a nasty thought that the whole update thing is the board have identified 20 possible sites and are working hard to find enabling partners - they hardly have a plan like.

When the Kings Dock idea was mooted, what was the plan for actually getting fans into/out of the stadium?
The Strand gets absolutely gridlocked when the Echo Arena kicks out, and that's about 20% the size that our stadium there would have been.

Thats why i think Clarence Dock wont be a runner, no way the planning powers will allow 50.000 people out on to the wanterfront for safety, transport etc.
