He is a GAA supporter with a passing interest in football
When the GAA redeveloped Croke park into an 80,000 capacity stadium ,they sold corporate boxes on a 10 year lease for big money #
I know our company bought one as did Eircom (national phone co.) and a good few others
I am sure Moshiri and Usmanov know a few companies (@USM ) that would pay handsomely for prime corporate boxes
Say 30 boxes at 20m for 20 yrs(a bit dear I know but that's creative accounting for you )
That's 500m for the stadium paid off and a few quid left over for a RB ,RW and maybe a CM
Optimistic I know but so was 30m for the right to bid on the naming rights

That market is in steep decline Bris, with limits on gifting far more common between companies. That said, Im sure there will be big demand from certain demophraphics to a premium level style seating

Boy its gonna be a wrench leaving the Grand Old Lady , been going there for over 50 years and experienced every kind of emotion there is.
My car's been on auto pilot to Stanley Park since i started to drive.

Massive emotional attachment to the place for me and my family.

So glad its not in a Public Park , Kirkby or Gilmoss.

Fantastic effort by the club and everyone involved making this dream come true.

Finally the tide has turned for us. No looking back now ....but yeah , gonna miss the Old Lady

The last game will be horrendous as I have, like so many others, grown up with Goodison as a part of my life and it has been for decades.

There'll be about 100,000 blues wanting tickets for that one. I fear I'll end up on the railings in Stanley Park like I was for the Wimbledon game. I hope they do some open days for groups of fans to visit the ground for one last time before it's taken down, I'd be absolutely gutted not to breathe in the history for one last time.
