New Everton Stadium

Good spot that fella.(any more pics ?)

Sure isnt L4 ...so new stadium it is then.

Reading this in the link makes it nailed on I reckon.

Some of the American investors Kenwright met were prepared to purchase 100 per cent of the club, but it is understood the Everton owner was concerned by suggestions they still had to raise money to complete a deal of around £180- £200 million. There was alarm they would not have the cash to build a stadium, which is the whole point of any sale.

A £300m stadium financed over 30 years would cost approximately £15m a season. With the new TV deal borrowing this type of money is feasible. Whether it is a sound investment is doubtful but better £300m in the docks than £150m on the outskirts if we have any intention of competing as a top club.

Lifted from TPF and make sense to me.

Yep that TK really knows what he is talking about. Everyone should listen to him :)

Still reckon Waterloo marina would be out of this world. That would take a massive redevelopment though, as the roads just aren't up to scratch. Then you'd have the usual neanderthals screaming that it's outside of the city, whilst totally ignoring the fact that the boundary lines are arbitrary, and political in nature. Who would have thunk that there's not a single football club in the entire 'City of London'? :p

If you're looking on the projects bit of their website, think that was the King's Dock.

This is for WHP

"In 2010, WOO were appointed to advise Everton FC on its new stadium.

The WOO team identified potential locations, then went on to develop the designs for a new, purpose-built 50,000 seat stadium to be located in Walton Hall Park, about a mile north of Everton FC's current Goodison Park stadium."

Yeah interesting they done work on Kings dock swell as plans for WHP. Wonder why they never came to light though, especially as Anderson said he has never seen plans (from what i can remember).

Maybe Anderson was just putting pressure on the club?

Was looking in the projects bit of their website mate.
All my phone is showing is a bit of a megastore and a slither of stadium from that link
The projects bit is showing either King's Dock.or a riverside location.
Picture doesn't resize on phones, there's a much wider pic when viewed on a monitor.
