New Everton Stadium

I come M62/M57/East Lancs every game, so logistically SC would work perfectly for me.
That said, if the choice was SC or a Sandhills/riverside new build, I'd go for Sandhills/riverside every day of the week and twice on a Sunday... even though night games would make the travelling that little bit more problematic.

I'm the same, we come in off the M57 (M62, M57, East Lancs - same) So we drive past SC and WHP to get to Goodison. But I'd still rather we were in the city and on the waterfront would be best.

Interesting if these designs have never come to light - shame there isn't more images of their vision.
Hmm. It's basically just a promo placeholder for their website, I'd be surprised if there is a real design for this stadium, just looks like something their graphic designer has knocked up in an afternoon.

Bet you won't be saying that when you're nuts-to-butts on the dock road trying to find parking with 10 mins to kick off. Sure, it might look pretty, but the practicalities have to be considered too.

True. But then I don't live in Liverpool at the moment. For the people of Liverpool it would be perfect and I put them first since I'm a wool.

Dave Kelly on twitter said Kenwright has a stadium model in his office

Hahaha just found that on twitter - see the person who said it looks like the same one as the picture behind one signing a contract

A £300m stadium financed over 30 years would cost approximately £15m a season. With the new TV deal borrowing this type of money is feasible. Whether it is a sound investment is doubtful but better £300m in the docks than £150m on the outskirts if we have any intention of competing as a top club.

Lifted from TPF and make sense to me.

Agreed on your points but it all depends what suitable land is available in the waterfront/City centre and what the terms of the land lease/sale
