Hope you are right. But SC is such an awful location for a new stadium, it's depressing me already. We have to get this right, we really do.
All this talk about Peel not wanting a stadium might very well be true. Does it have to be waterfront, though? I think I am right in saying they own the former dock estate. I'm not too sure they own the land on the other side of the dock road. What about flattening the streets from Oil Street to Saltney Street? The businesses there could easily be relocated nearby. God knows there is enough dereliction to find new homes for them not too far away.
I'd say the site is twice the size of GP. Just a thought.

Not posted hearsay before but a customer of ours mentioned peal holdings have outlined Trafalgar dock as a possible location(his brother in law works there). Be ace that as all the big cruise ships come up the Mersey and the first bit of the city they see is our blue stadium...........and it was all a dream.......

I think also there is a new corporate head of hospitality. Its worth mentioning that for non-Evertonians whose companies will have budgets for this its not going to be much of a winner having a stadium too far from the city centre.
I highly doubt that Moshiri would sanction a move like that in any case. I think he not only wants to build the club but leave a lasting legacy...just the way he and Bill come across.
