I would be surprised if we are at such a crucial juncture already. I am sure that other sites are being looked at and investigated , but it just seems very rushed to have a preferred site within a couple of weeks of acquiring a new investor.
I could understand if it was WHP as so much work has already been done on that site and we know the Council were on board , but I think this may be a longer more drawn out process.
I would prefer to take it slowly and get it right.

we had a 55k stadium when we won the league and it was half empty a lot of the time... and £3 to get in

The 80s seen the city in a recession and football hooliganism was rife. It wasn't only Everton with poor attendances then.

55k is the minimum we should be building, with a plan incorporated into the design to add extra capacity if it was ever needed.

Not having Stonebridge Cross though.
