New Everton Stadium

Westfalenstadion is a 4 tiered design right? That is what I was saying. Great stadium.

Well, yeah i mean to look at it from the outside it doesn't look like it would be so impressive, looks relatively identikit

However the inside is an absolute beast never experienced a atmosphere and game like it when i was there. I was on the Die Südtribüne when i was there and it was amazing. If we could have a stand that intimidating it would be brilliant. Allianz arena outside, Westfalenstadion inside please!

Beast of a stand that!

Ok. So now it might be on again...that plan which was pulled out of that web page might be true then. Very interesting.

My understanding is that WHP off - partly because of Everton's lack of ability to pony up the dough, but also because of the controversy around green spaces and the heat the Council would face. They'd much rather work with Everton on a brownfield site - and EFC are now looking at least one of these.

It's purdah soon in the run-up to Council elections - WHP being off may even get announced before purdah kicks in.

Ok mate...what are those brownfiel sites? SC innit?
I had that perception about WHP too that it was off...but could it be on again after Moshiri?

I have no reason to doubt any of that and I have seen similar comments posted elsewhere despite the cynicism in this thread.
The question has to be asked...who does this benefit? Does it tick the box for the Mayor because he wants to see Croxteth benefit from a new project ->tick. Does it benefit the club because there is less of a fin impact using a brownfield site ->tick.

oh,... but what about the fans - nope. Relocating to the edge of the city is frankly a joke, we should be on the waterfront or in the heart of the city but no what we will get is some boss drawings in the echo to trick the fans into moving to a brownfield site on the edge of the city.
