New Everton Stadium

Everytime i see new vids id love to bring a ball down for a kickabout on the top half of the dock.

I remember when we did the City stadium, during the refit, just prior to ripping up the commonwealth track, we had a race, I ran in lane 4. I won it and that was the last known race to be run on that track in that stadium. We also played in what I believe was the first game of football in the stadium.

I reckon there'll be a few working on our stadium that may get to don a pair of boots when the grass is laid on BMD.

Thanks. My question was actually about the actual money to pay for the stadium. I can only find information on Moshiri's 100m and the council's 45m. Confirmation of the balance 355m has not been announced yet right?
Gonna need to borrow a lot more than £355m or Meis has been brought in to scale it down and reduce the costs.

When the 2012 Olympic stadium was being built, the builders invented their very own version of an Olympic Games. The hammer was the easiest one, obvs, but apparently they had tons.

I read somewhere (might have been here) where somebody suggested that the financing for stadiums is not done in one go. The various stages are financed separately in 3 or 4 loans. Not sure if that is true. Anybody who knows about these things care to comment?

Pretty much every commercial property that is built, cos in that world, this is what BMD is, is stage funded. Most sports venues carry a unique risk to lenders though, in that they cant be used for much else if the worst happens. Unless they are demolished.

Knowing a bit more than most about commercial property new builds, there is little chance that we are where we are without access to future funding. Of course, other stuff can blow everything apart, but as we are, it should be plain sailing, funding wise.

Kin jinxed it now ffs.
