New Everton Stadium

Anyone got any idea where there additional funding is coming from yet?
Unclear at this point. They do look to have progressed beyond the ‘site enablement works’ originally to have been funded by Moshiri as phase 1. As structures begin to come out of the ground, at point have we technically progressed to enablement to build?

Cant see them stopping and losing momentum to wait for a tranche of funding to be drawn down from some private equity / pension fund. Could see Moshiri funding this for another phase On a bridging basis. Interest rates have just begun to creep up also so its an uncertain time to be borrowing long term.

Seriously? The site is something like 2.5/3 times bigger than Goodison. Anyone care to be specific?
The stadium itself is roughly the same length of footprint as Goodison is, ie the back row of the Park End to the back row of the Gwladys.

It just about fits N>S hence if we wanted a large home end we have to compromise and have the smaller opposite end (as we're building without overlapping tiers).

I think in here(thread), somewhere, there is a graphic of Goodison Footprint, New Foot print overlaid on BMD, gives a good idea!

Im old and dont know how to search within the thread! anyone?
Not sure if this is what you're referring to but found these images showing the respective sizes

"Everton hope to win permission to build on the 8.7 hectares site at Bramley-Moore Dock
Goodison sits on a 3.25ha plot of land but the Bramley-Moore Dock site is around two-and-a-half times the size"
