I think it's more to with the stadiums orientation, if it wasn't North to South it could probably have got more seats in.

It's my understanding that stadiums are always built on a north south axis to stop the sun getting in the goalies eyes. Is that the case? Must be some exceptions somewhere, I suppose. Anybody know of any?

My RS mate is still trying to convince himself that this won't happen and at some point it will all go tits up and we'll be left with a derelict site on the dock that will become a mound of rubble.

I can tell when I'm speaking to him on the phone Pete that the thought of us having an iconic boss stadium is killing him.

All of this is born out of their failure to build on Stanley Park.

They failed, so we can't possibly succeed. A fairly classic Kopite mindset more generally.
