New Everton Stadium

To be honest, I'm sure Dan Meiss said the width of the dock is the perfect fit for the pitch, so the fact it's actually 200m is pretty confusing he's said that.

Will the Premier League allow this?

In tears at this thread this morning. Not enough room for a pitch in a £500m+ project with one of the biggest contractors in the world. Great stuff keep it going.

They followed all the protocols by sending the YTS lad to pace out the dock while juggling and signing the national anthem. For reference the distance was clocked at 1203 yards (1.1 kilometres), more than enough for a few stadiums to fit end to end so I've been told... :hayee:

I've always assumed he meant the actual dock basin was the the right-ish size for the pitch. The site is more than just the actual dock basin.

I'm guessing this helps clear up your confusion.

Correct me if I'm wrong but i think you have width & length mixed up. The stadium runs north-south. This makes your 200m the width (road to river). The length & shorter measurement (poo factory to Nelson Dock) is the direction of the pitch. North stand backs onto the treatment works, south backs onto Nelson, West parallel to the river, East is parallel to road.
