I really hope our new stadium can generate an atmosphere in the same way as Goodison. Its invaluable what Goodison has done for us recently

I'd bet it will be better.

It's the fans that make the atmosphere what it is. Parts of GP actually worsen the atmosphere I would say... Top balcony being a bit separated from the rest, lots of fans under upper tiers which limits sounds being protected onto the pitch.

A fair number of extras, plus better acoustics will make the atmosphere better, as long as the seats are as close as they are now

Apparently Bootle HC who are Merseysides top hockey team said they couldn't even fit their pitch on the land even if they rotated it.

Not sure who done the measurements but we'll be lucky to get a 6ft paddling pool in the middle of it and have limited leg room around that!

I don’t know, the overhangs of the Lower Gwladys and Bullens Road funnel the sound straight down onto the pitch. It can be eardrum-splitting under there.
