In fairness, the ground was originally developed by both Munich clubs with regional backing, but 1860 had to sell their stake when they were relegated. The city of Munich bend over backwards for Bayern.
The city of Liverpool don't want Everton to be the dominant club in Liverpool, structurally or on the pitch. Don't expect them to find us a quality site with dedicated transport links.
Went there to avoid my 50th and did the tour.
Fantastic stadium but is sort of arse end of nowhere bit was pointing out that the transport links are excellent.
Personally I would love a Sandhills/Liverpool Waters solution as I don't drive and got no mates (suprisingly).
Almost as bad as Kirkby for location,in fact not much distance between the two sitesI believe Stonebridge Cross is one of them. A meeting took place a few months ago.
Have just read that... if he is convinced it'll be done in 3 years, surely the site is picked and the planning is going through....?
Not into the Stonebridge Cross site personally.

You'd have to knock all the streets on the right down, otherwise it would be an absolute nightmare to travel there. Huge redevelopment and new roads would be essential.
That is a fair point. But I still maintain that Liverpool council don't want Everton to be the primary club in Liverpool. Doesn't fit with the image the city is trying to sell.In fairness, the ground was originally developed by both Munich clubs with regional backing, but 1860 had to sell their stake when they were relegated.
Sorry, may have misread/misunderstood your post.
an additional station between Sandhills and Moorfields to serve the Eldonian area, no need to knock down houses.
