New Everton Stadium

What about all the memorabilia and history that will be dismantled at Goodison? I wonder if the club has any plans to dispose of it to fans, whether it becomes the property of the developers or whether it's scrapped. So much stuff there and I'd love a bit of the old ground in the garden for instance. Jeez 4 generations of my family have been season ticket holders there and many memories are tied up there. It should be thought through and carefully planned how the demise of Goodison is handled.
Still haven't heard what they're doing with the latticework. I hope it's installed on-site somewhere.

has anyone by any chance got the original design of the stadium alongside the new version of the design, trying to see what the difference is, i know externally its the steps, was there anything else on the exterior and interior ?

I believe there are at least three versions of the design: the original vision, the reduced capacity, and the final one that’s actually being built.

i thought the capacity was always the same? It's only if they include the safe standing ratio's that the capacity changes?

There have been three versions of the 52,888 stadium.

1) The original (with multi-storey car park next to the river)
2) The second after the wind study which incorporated the car park into the building and had the protected access under the car park. This impacted the symmetry of the stadium and the brick component to the west was bigger than the east.
3) The final version, removed the car park again, protected the riverside pedestrians from the wind with the staircase, and re-instated the symmetrical nature of the brick component.

The final version was a big improvement on the second version.
