New Everton Stadium

They will have adjusted their programme but we won't be on track in terms of the original one I.e. the one that image is based on.

I think, all going well, the build will be finished end of 2025 assuming no more significant delays. Then they'll need another 2 or 3 months for commissioning, testing, staff training, moving over etc.
Let's wait and see what the club says before we speculate. The last official word was that we were on schedule. On another note, thanks for posting the video. First one of things from inside the site. Isn't it amazing how far the distance is between the back of the West stand and the river?

If it is behind they will wait until we have a win before saying anything.

Would they then be better waiting until the start of following season do you reckon? Surely be a mess selling season tickets to new members for about 5 games of the season left wouldn't it!

I guess money talks though and they'll want it open ASAP won't they.
They'll get it open as soon as they can, definitely.

You never know, they may claw It back. LoR will certainly want to get it completed on or ahead of programme.

There's no shame in it being delayed by a few months though given the scale. No matter how well something is planned It's rare for projects of this scale not to hit delays.

The last official word from the LOR Project lead that I saw is that ethey were 6-10 weeks behind due primarily to complications with dock clearance (but also a slower workforce ramp up). He said then that could be contained within the ‘allowances’ built into the plan.

It possibly can, if everything goes right but if North & South roof trusses are not up before bad weather sets in that slippage likely grows as it will limit the work that can be done across winter (the joys of critical path analysis with any project are exacerbated in construction).

I tend to agree that with AndyRJ that 24/25 season start is optimistic but as he says it is not unusual at all. At least so far we are not self-inflicting delays with whimsical late design changes or work done wrong having been redone due to contradictory/unclear plans so hopefully that competence continues when we get to outfit and ‘trade conflicts’ are more likely (as anyone who has redeveloped a house will understand).

Have you got a link? The only official word I remember seeing is that we are on target.
