New Everton Stadium

Don’t agree at all. At 60k you lose intimacy and atmosphere. 52k will do us very nicely
Disagree. Another 8k wouldn’t of made a difference to the atmosphere. The way I currently see it is that Goodison holds 38k or so. We sell out every game. There is a wait for season tickets which I believe it around 10-15k. I know myself, me, my brother and my Dad have been on the waiting list for a few years now.

The difference in revenue another 8k would of made is about another half a million in ticket sales a year. Then all of the other money that comes with it, merchandise, food, drinks etc etc.

60k should of been the bench mark.

Would have heavily diluted the atmosphere at 60k. At 60k these stadiums are cavernous. Some of the best atmospheres I have experienced have been at smaller stadiums. We can’t afford to lose atmosphere

We're all entitled to an opinion. 52k is way way way below what will do nicely. It's very conservative. I think there is an element of
compactness with the way the stands are but you can easily, easily, add on another 10,000 or more without loosing that tightness.

I think the 52k is rather underwhelming and lacked conviction, that we could fill it. The stadium build itself is very ambitious but the
size is not. It's a bit of a smokescreen in my opinion that we're building so low in order to keep the stadium intimate and keep the atmosphere.

Put it simply the club the likes of Elstone didn't have the belief we'd fill it for what ever reason. I bet you the moment the first season starts at BMD
everyone will be saying it should be bigger and the demand for tickets will be berserk.

I feel I say it every time but if we had 52k now at Goodison we'd fill it. Moving to a new ground on the waterfront will be a big pull. Imagine if we
were successful..

I've been imagining we'd be successful for 30 odd years mate like most.
