Todays futuristic is tomorrows bland embarrassment.
We need a classic iconic stadium with heritage, that stands the rest of time.
I don’t like the design tbh. I don’t like the roof. The stadium itself is fine, I love the brickwork, I love the patterns and what we are doing with the pump house, but I really dislike the roof as it will look dated within 10 years.…….
I like the ground and roof, it’s not a boring soulless generic flap pack stadium it’s a new modern arena with character ( not many of those around ) in a fantastic location.
Those complaining would do well to remember what was served up in Kirby which was a flap pack arena on a supermarket car park.
My only gripe with it is whether it’s big enough or not as capacity should have been north of 55k, but the stadium design itself I think is stunning and iconic in a great location.
Boring is the king Power or Saint Mary’s which are identical stadiums with different colour seats. BMD beats those hands down in both exterior and interior plus it’s not a million miles away from the city centre like lots of other new stadia.
Christ some people will find anything to moan about
Gonna set off an hour earlier on Saturday and go and have a quick mooch around and see for myself. Those pics BTW are great.
It looks massive. Drone vision doesn't give the size of it justice.
Do you mean with its ar$e in the airI cant get enthused about a new stadium when the playing side of this club is on its arse... Some will see it the other way...
