New Everton Stadium

82 rows in the middle?
Yeah, I was going to say, the curve at Spurs’ ground throws the row counts out somewhat - and makes it less imposing than it would otherwise be, in my opinion.

Why do so many stadia nowadays have that curve thing? Is it purely aesthetic or is there a physical reason for it?

Its to do with the recommended viewing distance from the furthest point of the playing area., basically, the furthest point from you sets your maximum distance. If you draw that round on a circle, it would create the wave that you see in stadia, or at least a version of it.
If you were take a straw that is a set length, then map it around a rectangle, maintaining length from the furthest touchline, and angle, you'd get a similiar result.

Thank you very much. I wonder how many rows there are in the fattest part of the Goodsion Road if you count the kid's enclosure, the Main Stand and the Top Balcony?

I've done a more accurate count

Family Enclosure 13 rows (highest point is 18 rows in the corner by the Park End)
Main Stand 40 rows (lowest Point is 23 rows by Park End)
Top Balcony 19 rows (lowest points is 13 rows by Park End)

Lowest total of rows 49, maximum total of rows 76

Lower Gwladys Street has a maximum row of 43 which I was surprised about. They certainly crammed a lot of seats in there when it went to all seating!

Now I'm no maths genius, but this seems wrong to me.
