A HUGE pinch of salt however.....We will give you a million quid for 10years Farhad. That’s the going rate for clubs in the championship.

The only thing I've got to be negative about regarding the stadium is how its been used by the club for years and years now and how we as a fanbase have let it he used. Its like clockwork, we lose a game heavily and the club releases some new pics or a video and an update. "Look Everton fans, look at the shinny, shinny new stadium! Don't worry about actual football and our slow decent towards oblivion! Everything is positive, everything is calm and everyone happy!".
Have to disagree. There are constant updates regardless of how we are doing on the pitch. What is the club supposed to do? Just post updates after a decent result? What about the drone blokes? Don't fly after a bad result?
I can't stand the current set up as much as the next fan and I would gladly fire Bill Kenwright out of a cannon but I understand that a new stadium is of massive interest to the fan base, it's a once in a hundred year occurrence. Halley's comet comes round quicker.
Seriously, if it annoys you, just ignore the updates. I'm off now to watch Mr Drone.
External walls to allow indoor work have appeared on the east and north stands this week by the looks of mr drone’s stellar work. Guess they are beginning the internal fit out on three sides now as been predicted by others on here before Christmas.Looks like only work on the west stand over the last week judging by what I saw
Its not the updates on here that bother me. This thread is one of the few remaining positive corners we as fans have left but it has to be said that the club does use stadium updates as a ploy to quieten dissent after bad results. Reckon most of the guys on site could pick one or two better than Thelwell seems to be doing.Trying to find a half decent striker or something...

I was just about to say exactly this. Of course it’s going to seem like they are trying to hide a bad result when basically every result is badWhere is your evidence for that? Most of our results since we started work on the stadium in August 2021 have been defeats.
I remember when this was announced i thought lovely by the time this is built it'll be the difference from us finishing in europa to becoming a champions league side.
Now it might end up being why we get promoted into the prem.
