This wouldn’t remotely surprise me.

But if we go down to the lower leagues it’ll probably be Man Utd that takes it over rather than the RS. And we will essentially be their feeder club.

What's crazy is there are still blues who are taken in by Moshiri because of it.
In no way does it help Everton, unless, it helps us find a buyer. Its a waste of time, the list of clubs who moved grounds and went backwards confirms it

I reckon it would end up costing more if it were mothballed. My limited logic on this being that by continuing the build to completion would, as you say, becoming a saleable asset which I think will be the end of Moshiri's involvement with us.

Can see a situation were if relegation happens and we do not bounce straight back then the stadium ownership is sold off to a different company probably owned by moshiri or others then leased back to the club . Wether this would be for all events inc concerts in the summer the euros etc or just solely for the purpose of football matches is a scary thought revenue wise for the future .
