Saw on Twitter earlier an article about United looking at redeveloping their stadium. It would mean them having to find an alternative home for a period. Quite a few of their fans were suggesting our new stadium. I could almost see this happening because of our financial position. The humiliation

I remember the home league game for United against arsenal at anfield in 1971,my arl fella took me that night in the annie road.What I do remember is the United fans getting sh1t kicked out of them in the kop and absolute chaos after the game

They'd have to use the etihad. This city has a team playing at home every week already and that's without factoring in European and TV games.

Its been a major distraction and sucked the energy out of the club for years....the whole ' finding a location and geting one accepted and built' process.

Other clubs from the past were a warning to us about what could go wrong on the pitch while building a new stadium.

We needed a new stadium, for sure. However, it turns out we were never good enough / string enough to pull off a stadium build AND stay in the top flight.

But if we go down to the lower leagues it’ll probably be Man Utd that takes it over rather than the RS. And we will essentially be their feeder club.

Utd will not have their home in Liverpool, thats a fact

Gutted they made you feel that way mate, this is the only positive i can see and even in this thread fans are dissing it, the abject feelings of lowness football wise, that the team etc have us all in is beyond the pail!
