New Everton Stadium

Isn’t the captains table just a paid bar in the park end or is it a meal etc too?
Can’t believe access to a paid private bar will be £9k
Equally can’t believe a full dining job in GP is only £2k.
No wonder we can’t afford to pay the likes of James £500k per week.
It’s just pints and a big platter of fishfingers.

It’s not just London.

Liverpools cheapest hospitality ticket is about £350 a game. That’s £5-6k a year, at a dump.

Our hospitality has been cheap (just like our genera tickets) for years due to a) we’re crap and b) the stadium is not desirable to those who aren’t Everton fans.

The new stadium instantly solves point b.
You missed (c)... basic supply and demand.

Everton have tried to raise the cost of their limited corporate before. Even after major refurbs of existing lounges (which are equivalent to a compatible offer elsewhere) they haven't been able to push it that far.

I'm assuming that the example posted (£2k to £9k) is an example of the club trying to speculatively push a much higher-end product, with several cheaper levels available to negotiate down to. I think there will be 7 levels of corporate on offer.

As regards LFC.... let's be honest, they're supply/demand figures are on a whole different planet to ours. They've limited supply for decades. My brother in law lives in the US and is an overseas member. He pays hundreds just to sit in an ordinary seat whenever he can get over, and sometimes thousands just to enter corporate-lite areas. There are tens of thousands like him who will pay a fortune for their rare visits. We don't have that.

Here’s a good video for a comparison of the sort of “hospitality” the RS are offering for a mere £500 per person. Absolutely shocking.

As someone said in the comments, you’re basically paying £450 for snacks and a comfy seat.

That did not look that great. The London stadium one I did was better and cheaper
